1. Who We Are

Spinny is a spin-the-wheel decision app developed and operated by Speed. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@spinny.app or via the contact form on our website.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

Spinny stores the following information locally on your device only, using Hive (an on-device database). This data is never transmitted to any server:

• Your wheel options (the text you enter)
• Elimination mode toggle state

This data is deleted when you uninstall the app. We have no access to it at any time.

3. Analytics Data (Firebase Analytics)

We use Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how people use Spinny. This helps us improve the app. Firebase Analytics collects:

• App usage events (e.g., app opens, screen views)
• Device information (OS version, device model, screen size)
• General location (country/region level — not precise GPS)
• Crash and performance data

This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your name, email, or any personally identifiable information. You can opt out of analytics collection on your device:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable for Spinny
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

4. Contact Form Data

If you submit a message through the contact form on our website, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your message

This information is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for marketing purposes. You can request deletion of your contact submission at any time by emailing us.

5. Data We Do Not Collect

To be explicit, Spinny does not collect:

• Your name, email, or any account information (no accounts required)
• The content of your wheel options
• Precise location data
• Photos, contacts, or any other device content
• Payment information (the app is free)
• Any data from children — Spinny is not directed at children under 13

6. Third-Party Services

Spinny uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

• Firebase Analytics & Firestore (Google) — Google Privacy Policy
• Google Fonts — loaded at runtime in the app; no personal data is sent

7. Data Retention

Analytics data is retained by Firebase per Google's standard retention policies (typically 14 months for user-level data). Contact form submissions are retained until you request deletion or we determine they are no longer needed.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability

9. Children's Privacy

Spinny does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not require any account creation or personal data entry. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our contact form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Spinny after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
